Over half way to the 12 mile (19.32km) minimum target, woohoo!! A couple of things I’ve learnt:
- I run (plod) faster on new routes, which is not good,
- Trail running is more challenging both physically (look after your ankles) and mentally (watch out for tree roots & don’t let the wildlife distract you!) which makes it slower but, for me at least, easier to ‘deal with’,
- Nevertheless, I still don’t like running.
