Passion: do what you want, not what you must

“Black Belt Leaders share their passion with everyone”

There are some things in life that we HAVE to do! But if we were to have the power to change a HAVE to into a WANT to, then how much easier would your lives become? Set a weekly task, and don’t let anything or anyone get in your way, go ahead and complete this task with passion.

We all have many unfinished little jobs around the house that pile up and become a source of resentment. These little jobs do get done eventually – because they must – but by the time we get round to it, they have often evolved into much bigger problems.

I will endeavour to enjoy actively dealing with these minor irritations, before they grow, and tackle at least one a week, be it sorting out a cupboard (kitchen, airing, toy, utility room…) or the burgeoning pile of post, sewing on Scout badges or missing buttons, or perhaps tackling the stuff that should be eBayed – one item at a time.

You can follow my progress in my weekly Status Updates.

Each time you have completed the task rate it on a scale of 1 to 10. One being the worst and ten being the best. Write a short paragraph (about 40 words) to describe how you felt before, during and after the task.
You should have at least 8 entries by the time you are complete, one each week.
